Our liners are individually designed and fabricated in-house to ensure both quality and fit. Each liner is specially made to complement the design of the vent hood giving the finished piece a consistent, yet unique look. If you have an existing liner, let us know and we can incorporate your liner into a custom vent hood body. Additionally, we can incorporate your existing fan into a custom vent hood provided we receive the model number.

We manufacture our own exclusive, dimmable, recessed halogen lights for our range hood inserts. Each light houses a state of the art 120V halogen MR–16 lamp protected by borosilicate glass and matching metal bezel rings. Custom baffle filters are made by hand to ensure quality and longevity. Range hood liners (also called inserts) and baffle filters are available in all our standard materials and finishes.

Remote Inline Fan
Our Range Hoods are generally equipped with remote inline fans from Fantech FDK & FG series To visit their page… click here.Fantech offers air flow capacities with a wide selection of CFM power options. Texas Lightsmith prefers the Fantech FKD and FG series due to its compact size, high cfm and low sones. We also use Broan exterior wall and roof mount fans and compact internal set-ups when the situation calls for them.
Internal Fan
If size and shape of the range hood body permit, and other factors do not allow for installation of a remote in-line fan, the ventilation fan can be internally installed in the range hood body.
Exterior Fan
In some instances an exterior fan is required for lack of accessible ducting or size of the range hood body, in which case we typically use the exterior roof or wall mount fans from Broan…learn more. These Broan fans are chosen for their performance and reliability as well as the powder-coated, paint ready housing.
Premium Liners:
Shown is our Premium liner/insert set up, shown here at 35 1/2" L. X 22" W. for Range Hood 30, in burnished nickel silver. Shown with two dimmable halogen lights and the 14"x20" premier baffle filter which also finished in our burnished nickel silver. Bezel rings with borosilicate (better known as "Pyrex") glass cover the lights. Switches are located in the front center of panel.
This is a premium liner/insert for Range hood number 17. It shows the versatility of our custom inserts and demonstrates the modification of our liner to accommodate this quarter-hemisphere shaped hood done at 36" D. X 22 1/2"depth. Finished in dark copper. The Texas Lightsmith™ premier baffle filter has been sized down to fit the allotted space. Two dimmable halogen lights are visible with bezel rings and borosilicate (better known as "Pyrex") glass covers. Atypical switches are set off to one side as per customer's request, and can be placed as you like.
This picture demonstrates the custom upgrade featuring two warmer lights and timer all finished to match in dark copper. Three dimmable halogen lights are visible with bezel rings and borosilicate or "Pyrex" glass covers. The filter is the Texas Lightsmith™ Premiere Baffle Filter, a premium upgrade.
