Post Lanterns

A collection of custom post lanterns handmade in our Austin, Texas studio. All designs can be customized from size and material to glass and lamp types. Traditionally lit with gas, these lanterns can be equipped with an array of different lighting options. Most electric light fixtures are UL listed.

Copper and seeded glass post lantern model VWPL. This copper post lantern has seeded glass diffusers and has a standing seam roof. Finished in Venetian Oil-Rubbed Bronze. Made in the USA

ABGL-5

A copper post lantern lit with a 3-cluster incandescent candelabra, diffused with clear seeded glass, and finished in a custom Texas Lightsmith Verdigris.

TSPL

Formed / assembled metal; glass, mica, or acrylic. Shown in dark copper with natural mica. This post lantern comes with or without the star.

BPL

Post lantern assembled / hand punched metal; mica; shown in medium dark copper with natural mica.

Claudius

This post lantern light fixture has a hand forged steel base with hand formed, riveted, and welded construction. Handblown ‘water glass’ diffuser. Lighting can be gas or electric.

RBPL

Formed assembled metal; glass, mica, or acrylic. Shown in medium copper with clear seedy glass.
