This residence typifies a modern traditional home with contemporary custom lighting. A simple bimetal sconce design with rectangular light notches provides a sense of tasteful drama.

Dining Area

Large circular sconces in the great room provide a sense of contemporary elegance without detracting from the central foci of fountain and crystal chandelier.

Bath

A straightforward bathroom light allows the client to match finishes with the plumbing accessories as well as customize the spacing of the lamping.

Custom Corner Apron Sink

Our client needed a hand sink for a corner application, so the apron needed to be on the front as well as the side. We can do that.

The apron covers both the front and the right side. The sink is made right here in Texas, USA, of high quality .0625” brass.

Custom Range Hood: Lotus Flower and Butterflies

Mama Leah wanted a unique range hood.

She needed a unique, customized version of our Range Hood #4. She wanted everyone to know that it was her kitchen. She wanted a lotus flower in the center of the hood body, with the Om symbol. And she wanted floating butterflies…



Together, we came up with a unique, customized version of our Range Hood #4. With a classic border enhanced with her own repoussé text and custom design elements (lotus flower, butterflies) based on her own sketches and aesthetic tastes.

Dramatic fire-features create a strong, romantic, and yet graceful atmosphere.

Private Residence: Pool

This view shows the pool with two fire and water urns constructed by Texas Lightsmith. The center has a gas flame surrounded by water that flows out of a scupper in the side into the main pool. In the center background is the pool bar. On each side of the bar is a custom-built JSGL gas wall lantern.

JSGL Lanterns

This is a close-up of the JSGL lanterns shown on each side of the pool in the first picture. On the left is one of the four JSHL’s shown in the second photo.

This view is the opposite direction of the first. The poolside bar is lit by four modified JSHL lanterns.

Shown here is the inside bar. Texas Lightsmith built the stainless steel and rusted steel cladding for the bar front.

Front Entrance

The front entrance displays two custom-built CGWL gas burning lanterns. Above the door is a custom-sized EKPF pendant fixture.

This piece demonstrates one of the infinite possibilities of combining copper and wrought iron. Here we have a bar light based on a Moroccan theme co-designed by Donna McNeil of John Williams Interiors and John Worsham of Texas Lightsmith. From a wrought iron frame are suspended three small, delicately punched copper pendants.

A creative lighting solution, utilizing an imaginative design featuring a combination of both copper and wrought iron supporting perfectly placed pendant lights.
